• Our main targets are the highly prized King George Whiting and the famous South Australian big snapper. Other species regularly encountered include squid, snook, salmon, flathead, bluecrabs and garfish. The waters off Adelaide offer a diverse range of species with fish available all year round. • Reel Screamer Fishing Charters is the ideal choice for novice to the more experienced. Specializing in small groups of up to 6 people per boat, families, friends, tourists and corporate incentive groups are all welcome. Charters run 7 days a week all year round, subject to available booking dates and favourable weather conditions. Clients can choose between our “standard - 5 hour or full day inshore fishing trips”, choose a more specialised “offshore/snapper trip” or one of our corporate options that can take up to 11 passengers.

• Our vessel “Opal 2” is a trailerable Nereus 20 built to 2C survey regulations and licensed under the SA Fisheries Charter boat act. It is fully fitted with full safety requirements, toilet and customized with quality fish finders and GPS plotter systems.
  
  Opal 2 was built in 2001 in South Australia and was designed to provide a safe, stable fishing platform that handles the unique wave action of St Vincent Gulf extremely well.
• Reel Screamer Fishing Charters now has access to a 2nd charter fishing vessel, a brand new 7.4 metre Clayton Gallant called “Hot Chilly”.  “Hot Chilly” is a true asset to Reel Screamer Fishing Charters as we can now cater for larger groups of up to 11 people with the use of two boats - or as a sole option now provide a more comfortable vessel to entertain small corporate groups.
  
  For large groups keen on hiring both boats at the same time, there’s always the added advantage of introducing a friendly competition between boats and often a novelty prize awarded to the winning boat/individuals guarantees plenty of laughs.

• All tackle, outfits and bait is inclusive in our pricing structure. Our tackle and outfits are all good quality and specially chosen to enhance enjoyment and increase catches. Braided fishing line is spooled on all our whiting outfits to increase sensitivity for the benefit of feeling the slightest of bites. All our traces are pre-tied ready to go, so our clients are fully catered for and no time is wasted whilst your on the water.

• All charters depart North Haven public boat ramp ( located at Southern Myth Drive, North Haven ) – free car parking available – starting and finishing times by arrangement and all charters are subject to minimum booking numbers and favourable weather forecasts for your safety and enjoyment.
  
  The suburb of North Haven is conveniently located on the north / western coastline of Adelaide and is an easy 25 to 30 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD.

• Your skipper/owner operator Kevin Sweeney is renown throughout South Australia for his natural fishing instinct. He has close to forty years experience in recreational fishing, the fishing tackle industry and, an impressive tally of competitive fishing titles at both club, state and national levels. Amongst these achievements, he is the only angler in the sixty year history of the Australian Anglers Association to win 3 times, the Australian Champion of Champions fishing title and a further combined 8 South Australian Champion of Champion state fishing titles. Kevin is only to happy to draw upon his local fishing knowledge, to give his clients their best chance of a memorable fishing experience.
